Beef yakhni pulao
Ingredients for yakhni
1)Beef 1 kg
2)Water 1 nd half liters
3)Ginger 1 small piece
4) Garlic 6 cloves
5) 2 black cardamom/ moti ilaichi
6)1 large stick cinnamon/ daar cheeni
7) 5 black pepper / sabut kali mirch
8) 5 cloves/ long
9 ) 1 tbsp black cumin/ kaala zeera
10) salt 2.5 tbsp
Ingredients for gravy masala
1) 1 onion
2)4 tomatoes large size
3) 1 cup oil
(medium size cup ,
ore take 1 measuring cup for accurate measurements,
ore 4 cooking spoon/ cooking chamcha) , and if beef pieces have fats portion , then add 3 spoon of oil
4 ) 1 tbsp red chilli powder
5) 1 tsp turmeric powder/ haldi powder
6) 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
7) 1 tbsp coriander powder /sabut dhania powder
8 ) 2 black cardamom/ moti ilaichi
9) 2 cinnamon stick/ daar cheeni
10) 1 tsp black cumin/ kaala zeera
11) 1 tsp black pepper/ kaali mirch
12) 5 cloves/ long
13) dried plum/ dried aalo bukhara 3 pieces
Recipe Procedure:
1) First of all take a large pan ore pressure cooker for making yakhni add all ingredients of yakhni and cook in pan for 1 an hour on slow flame ore until meat get tender , for pressure cooker cooking give 15 minutes weight
2) after yakhni preparation stain it with help of strainer nd take beef pieces separate
3) now take a large pan add oil and onion slice ,give them golden brown colour on medium flame
4) now add beef pieces , sautee them
5) add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, dried plum and all the spices and cook on medium flame and bhunify it very well
6) When oil comes out gravy is ready
7) at this point add 8 cup yakhni ( double amount of sela rice that are 1 kg / 4 cups)
8 ) Give it a boil , taste salt , if its salt level is more than normal then after cooking it will be normal , if it feels normal then add another half tsp of salt ,
9) add 2 hours soaked sela rice mix it
10 ) now cook on medium to high flame
11) when almost water is absorbed by rice , give dum for only 10 minutes on low flame
12) after turning off the flame don't mix rice immediately,
13 ) take out the pulao in serving dish after 10 - 15 minutes, and enjoy delicious yakhni pulao
